Yoga Flow Basic
This video is a short yoga video. We will be doing a little bit of flow. .. moving from a downward dog into a plank and then into an upward dog…then repeating.
This is a great sequence to build upper body strength and flexibility. It should be fairly challenging, especially for a beginner, but it will get easier with time.
This is a great way to build strength in your shoulders, biceps, triceps, abs, low back chest and back.
There are more videos on my website ..including some full length compilations… You can also find free articles and recipes to help you get healthy and stay that way.

Yoga Explanation…?
Can someone who knows what they’re talking about breakdown the basics of yoga for me and some of the moves. And can I get an opinion on whether or not theres a point to it, because I have six months to get in shape for flag football and I wanna go about it the best way I can.
Just some moves and the parts that it works, and whether or not I should do that or something else.
No pills and no classes, because I’m broke as a joke.
welll i take yoga and there are many many many different types you can take. if you want to tone your muscles you would want to take a solar flow class but make sure you take a beginer class and waht it does is it teaches you how to breathe in situations like that and relax you. if you are looking into a calming yoga you would want to take a lunar flow class. and if you dont now just take a beginer class. if this doesnt help you just go to a local yoga place or call or go to their website

Can anyone recommend a good beginner’s Yoga book?
I’d like to learn and practice proper stretching techniques, and the basics, etc.
I apologize for asking this question again, but I cannot see any of the answers given for some reason.
Hi, if you are a beginner, you should take 2-3 classes first, to get a correct understanding of how it works. Then you can use a book to do the exercises and learn some more.
I have used ‘Yoga, Mind&Body’ by Sivanda Yoga Vedanta Centre.
It has 165 pages, good pictures of all stages of the exercises and was not expensive at all. Publisher was Dorling Kindersley, which specialises in this type of books.
Hope this helps.
