should i change my yoga routine?
Since starting yoga on the wii fit i have noticed that my thighs have really slimmed down and my butt seems more defined. I am really chuffed! Also my cellulite seems better. Does this happen to everyone who does yoga?
My questions are:
1.Is it ok to do yoga every day ?
2. I do the same routine every time, is this ok or should i change it to keep getting good effects? I know with other exercises you have to keep changing the routine as your body gets used to the moves.
Yes it is ok to do yoga everyday. Just as you do not miss a meal so also you should not miss
your daily yoga. The only time you can miss is when you are not going to eat on a particular day.
In ancient India fasting was done twice a month on the 11th day of the both bright and dark half
of the lunar month referred as Ekadasi.
There is absolutely no harm in continuing your same routine unless you get bored. Frankly i
have been doing and teaching since last 25 years and never felt like changing routine or getting
bored etc., Never, absolutely never. I feel weak willed people easily get bored. Adding sun
salutations to your yoga routine if you haven’t already done would be a good thing to do.
Good luck and God bless. Cheers!

Hi ! Yoga have way more benefits, here are some strong points that i can share so you can examine and understand what i mean…
Yoga is a form of mild exercise that offers many benefits. Yoga makes you feel better about your body and help you become stronger and more flexible. Yoga can also help in toning your muscles, reducing stress, and improves your mental and physical well-being, making you fit both mind and body.
The type of yoga you need to do to lose weight is called vinyasa or flow yoga, a style of yoga based on the performance of a series of poses called sun salutations offering you athletic and sweat-drenched yoga styles. For weight loss purposes, try:
* Ashtanga Yoga- a very vigorous style of practice that can give you distinct advantages for losing weight.
* Power Yoga- is extremely popular, because of the fact that it provides a very vigorous cardiovascular workout, advisable for those who lose weight.
* Vinyasa yoga (Hot Yoga)- done in a hot room up the ante by guaranteeing you’ll sweat buckets, burning the extra calories that you have in your body.

1. It seems you have benefitted satisfactorily from your yoga practice. Yes, if you do the asanas and pranayama and take care of your diet, the results are always there unless there is some underlying medical problem which requires diagnosis and treatment.
2. If you are getting used to moves, it is a good sign that indicates your body has become flexible, gained stregth to do the asanas. Now you have to consolidate your gains to get more benefits.
3. Further course of action depends what are your targets for yoga practice, for example
Spritual upliftment or salvation
Maintain healthy lifestyle
Strength
4. There is no need to change your yoga routine, I will say contact your yoga teacher and attempt more advanced asanas.
5. You can also attempt to increase the durration of the period for which you hold asana.
6. Devote more time for self study on yoga and devote time for meditation.
7. Become an expert or a yoga instructor.
Though I do not know your aim of yoga practice, i can say add more asanas. And if there are more number of asanas. Some asanas do daily and some on alternate days.
